Here is some advice on how to survive in prison.

Trust God
Pray
Take one day at a time
Be respectful
Stay alert
Watch others when you are unsure of where to go
Be patient. (You will need it)
Watch, but don't see
Never pry into other people's business
Decide how you want to do your time. Easy or hard. How you behave will determine this.
Stay calm
Learn the lingo.
Stay busy
be yourself
Avoid gangs
Use your time to better yourself. Read, study, learn.
Help others.
